La Casa del Mendrugo rescued the old tradition of informal meals in a coffee shop, reminding us of the unhurried life from past times and the enjoyment of the seasoning of the traditional Mexican cuisine, accompanied by a delicious coffee or  a craft beer or even - why not? – a glass of wine.

The coffee shop offers traditional Tortas Compuestas and traditional Mexican cuisine, as well as delicatessen and cheese plates, and a daily Special Menu.

Come and enjoy the specialty coffees like Americano, Espresso, Cappuccino, or Smoothies, Wines, Craft Beers, Sodas, Tortas, Desserts, Serrano Ham and other deli choices of the house.

Our coffee shop supports the indigenous communities of Chiapas by offering certified organic coffee, with the CALPETIC label, “our coffee”, Tzetzal, 100 % Arabic in three varieties: Typica, Borbón and Mundo Novo produced by Tzeltal community fair-trade cooperatives.
